These "oversize" (bigger than letter size) three hole polyethylene sleeves are critical for preserving with allowing for handling brittle, browned, decrepit archival publications. I separate 50 to 100 year old journals into individual pages, put them in these sleeves, and put the sleeves in your notebooks. Doing this material that libraries won't ... can't ... let most scholars handle for (reasonable) fear it will soon be destroyed by handling can now be handled with no fear of harm to the page.
